IMMI watch is a menstrual tracker. It is designed for low-income communities as an affordable gadget and it does not require charging or connection to an app. IMMI will be distributed through charities to enable woman’s health education and support those in need.
We have developed full brand identity of IMMI from visual system. The brand is brave and bold. It speaks out loudly about delicate topic and proudly shows the beauty of a female body. To achieve that we created a type driven system with accented ink traps in glyphs. Straight strokes are contrasted with soft curves inside letters mimicking visual rhythm of woman body. The combination of soft skin tone colour palette with natural shapes creates powerful character of IMMI.
For packaging of the watch we sourced basic tin jar that can be reused to keep hygienic aids. The jars are finished with 1C black labels on coloured paper with optimum production cost. Bold abstract typographic approach makes the design eye catchy and delivers menstrual cycle message through ink traps and the clock hand inspired graphic at the top.
The entire visuality of IMMI is a tribute to femininity: from shapes to colours it tells a story of woman’s body.
